METKA strengthens its infrastructure project execution capabilities
Athens, Greece – 19 August 2026 – METKA ATE announces the signing of an agreement to acquire a 49% stake in KOSMO KATASKEVASTIKI S.A., a Greek technical company specializing in earthworks, excavations, embankments, and site preparation for infrastructure projects and major private developments.
The investment is part of METKA’s strategic plan to further strengthen its operational readiness in the infrastructure sector, by securing access to critical earthmoving capacity and enhancing coordination during the implementation of complex projects.
METKA, a subsidiary of METLEN Energy & Metals PLC, has a strong presence in the infrastructure and construction sectors and participates in the implementation of infrastructure projects and major building projects. Through this strategic participation, the aim is to create a more integrated and efficient project execution model, with an emphasis on resource availability, improved project planning, and enhanced predictability in terms of cost and implementation timelines.
The transaction has been structured as a strategic minority participation, with established corporate governance rights and a cooperation framework between the shareholders, while preserving the company’s operational autonomy and that of its management team.
